Last week, seven colleagues of Oldenburger|Fritom successfully completed the Transport of Dangerous Goods training course. The training was provided by DGM Netherlands.
Last night, our first personal leadership training of 2026 took place at Oldenburger|Fritom's logistics training center in the Dutch city of Veendam. This time, the theme was "What Makes a Team Successful," focusing on drawing parallels with football as a team sport.
This coming weekend, on January 10th and 11th, IJsbaan Twente in the Dutch city of Enschede will host the Dutch Student Championship Allround. Oldenburger|Fritom is the proud main sponsor and namesake of the tournament.
After 20 years of service, our colleague Albert Medendorp has continued his career as Operations Director at TGN|Fritom. Albert's departure marks the end of a special era. Along with René Dale and Erik Mekkes, he formed the "Three Musketeers of Oldenburger|Fritom."

Due to increasing demand for our Value Added Logistics solutions, Oldenburger|Fritom has added a third very narrow aisle (VNA) truck to its fleet. This sustainable truck will be deployed in our new, 15-meter-high BREEAM Outstanding distribution center in the Dutch city of Veendam.
